Dr. Zhang Receives AHA Collaborative Sciences Award

Dr. Zhang has received a Collaborative Sciences Award from the American Heart Association through collaboration with scientists from the University of Colorado, School of Medicine. The goal of the award is to identify novel glycated protein and metabolite markers to better predict progression of coronary artery calcium before onset of cardiovascular diseases in the Type 1 Diabetes population.
